On your ship your doors are painted, yes? Do you keep the paints?

We do. I think they're stored down in our cargo bay.

[A pause.] Dare I ask why?

I would like to paint Dorian's door.

[bryces_pup]

Oh! That'd be a lovely surprise. We should have plenty of paints for you to pick from. Any idea of what you're putting on it?

[veilstrike]

A white snake, coloured with purple scales and a green eye.

[bryces_pup]

That is... quite specific. Does it have any special meaning?

[veilstrike]

Have you seen the heraldry of Tevinter? There's no escaping the snake imagery. [ But, ah, she sighs. ] The colours are for him and his specialisation, and the eye is to represent the Inquisition.

Not in person, surprisingly enough, but probably in a book at some point. [Urgh, snakes. She's so glad Ferelden's animal of choice is a dog and not something reptilian.] But it sounds like you put a lot of thought into it. I can't wait to see how it turns out.

I'm not the best artist, but I intend to do my best. [ Leilani breathes out, obviously getting worked up about making this good. ] But I can paint better than I can draw.

That's more than I can do. I never could get the knack of drawing or anything involving art.

I had an excellent teacher. [ And she's doing her best to stay jovial about it!! Despite how much remembering Solas makes her want to rip things apart. ] I'll come over when he is busy, then.

If I see him head off somewhere or very engrossed in something, I'll let you know.

[Sadly, not all are artists.

The question admittedly surprises her, though not unpleasantly.]

For more crew? Yes, plenty. We're barely above half capacity.

Then it would not be an issue if I were to move?

No, not at all! I would check with Sokka, the captain first just to be safe, but I don't see any reason why he'd say no.

[Then she smiles wryly.] A word to the wise, though: I'm the only woman on the ship currently, so it's something of a man's ship.

Then you will soon have two women. [ She scoffs a quiet noise. ] I am used to running the wilderness with a shirtless Qunari, a picky Tevinter mage and a young spirit boy. Too many men doesn't scare me.

Wonderful! [Thank the Maker, the ship needs more estrogen.] So Cole, Dorian and... okay I'm curious about the shirtless Qunari. The only one I've ever known would probably rather be caught dead than without a shirt.

[veilstrike]

His name is the Iron Bull. [ And he's one of her dearest and best friends, but she thinks her voice gives that away. ] Imagine a giant Qunari about seven foot tall with horns in the shape of a Bull. He never wore a shirt and his muscles were the size of my head.

[bryces_pup]

[Low whistle.]

Maker, he's beefier than Sten from the sounds of it. Wasn't he cold at all? I understand the Inquisition did some things in Ferelden, which is not the warmest place on Thedas.

[veilstrike]

He may have been, but he rarely complained. I've never asked if Qunari run hotter than the rest of us. [ She hums, thoughtful. ] We spent some time in the Storm Coast and that was both wet and cold. He seemed to cope.

[bryces_pup]

The Storm Coast is not for the faint of heart when the weather turns. I grew up near there. [Nasty place, when it wanted to be.] You sound quite fond of him.

I thought the weather was bad enough, then I saw the island of dragons. [ At least Bull had a good time. ] He is one of my dearest friends. I wouldn't have survived without him.

Ah, so the rumor of a high dragon nesting there is true, then? [Welp. Kinda glad she and her crew handled that rather than Fereldan soldiers getting killed trying to do so.] Is Iron Bull a name he took for himself? Qunari are generally referred to by their roles in their society.
